Last Saturday, 15th of November, I played a concert at a small church in Fataunços, Vouzela. This is a region of Portugal I know very little. It is very green, with lots of hills and valleys. The weather was very rainy the entire weekend, but you could still tell, how beautiful and special nature is around there. I also loved the many stone houses and walls you see all over, big grey granite stones, piled up into walls or around doors and windows.
People were so welcoming and nice, interested in my work and input, thankful and generous.
I also slept very well, the bed was incredibly comfortable besides beautiful and old, and the quiet! Oh, the quiet. Quietness is the true luxury of nowadays and I really enjoyed it.
